He is an Old Anandian and a gratuate of Civil Engineering at the University of Colombo.He has achived his doctorate at the London University and has assumed his duties as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Colombo.
He is a beginer member of the Professional organization, State Engineering Engineers Union, Buddhist Congress of Sri Lanka, All Ceylon Federation Chief Incumbent, Society of Scientists and Technological Employees, The Senate Foundation and The United Sinhala Maha Sabha.
