It's 7.15 am to 3.15 pm, not 9 to 5! Office hours around Battaramulla changes from 18th September

The Ministry of Public Administration and Management yesterday issued a circular changing the office hours of government institutions in  Battaramulla area to 7.15 a.m to 3.15 p.m. from September 18. Government officials believe that this measure will reduce the traffic congestion approximately. The principal aim of the project is to reduce the number of office workers on the road during the vertex hours.

Officials say that this project will shield the employees arrive at their office at delegated service hours which will be decided by the heads of the departments.As the lead project, this will be applied for government institutions in Battaramulla area; the governmrnt is considering to introduce these new working hours to the private sector as well.
