It displayed the handicraft, painting and sculpture creations using clay, bamboo, palmyrah, flower, paper, leaves, rattan etc. of the soldiers wounded, lost limbs or eyesight and presently residing at rehabilitation centres. This is the first of its kind at a public gallery in the country.
With the blessing of the Army commander, adjutant general Maj. Gen. Shavendra Silva and Brig. Shantha Tiruvanakarasu supervised the exhibition with the coordination of the Ranaviru resources centre at Wattala and the rehabilitation directorate.
