In a video issued by No 10, Dawning Street -Prime Minister's office she wants Britain to be a country where everyone, regardless of their background, can play their part and achieve their ambitions, in her Thai Pongal wish. Sending greetings to Tamil families in the UK and around the world, she said that this is the time to cost out the old and embrace opportunities to come.
She further stated that the British Tamil community is a fantastic example of what that looks like, helping make Britain the diverse, successful country that they are all so proud of.
