Dissanayake goes onto say that after the no-confidence motion is won on April 04, a UPFA-led government with a new PM will be formed and a new cabinet appointed.
However, SLFP general secretary Duminda Dissanayake has said the party had no ethical right to support the no-confidence motion. If that happens, that will be a betrayal of the ‘January 08’ public mandate, he said, adding that president Maithripala Sirisena would not take such a decision.
Meanwhile, UPFA general secretary Mahinda Amaraweera told a meeting in Matara that their decision would not take the country backwards or not make it anarchic.
