COLOMBO (News1st): A youth has been arrested for attempting to smuggle cannabis and tobacco into the Polonnaruwa prison, police said. The suspect, a 22-year old resident of Polonnaruwa, had tossed 1.5 grams of cannabis, and 56 grams of tobacco into the prison, according to officials. He is due to be produced before the Polonnaruwa Magistrate’s Court.
