COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Railways says railway services will recommence next Friday. The General Manager of Railways, Dhammika Jayasundara says although arrangements were made to recommence operations on 01 October, the Government had instructed to suspend the operations of trains for two weeks. Accordingly, railway services will recommence on 15 October.
